United in God’s Ministry

Sharing Love Mission enjoys the patronage of ‘Jesus Redeems’ all these years. Eventhough I had known Bro. Mohan.C.Lazarus and his ministry Jesus Redeems, I could not have close contact with him until the beginning days of Shalom ministry. Only one thing I know very well, that is, he is one of the God’s servant who has extended his hands of help to all missionary organizations and missionaries. He embraces every evangelist and supports every ministry that is dedicated is to bring the gospel of Christ to our mother land

 Support for missionary work. 

At first he accepted us as their missionaries on 29^th December 1990 and dedicated us in “Thirappinvasal Jebam”. Later he came forward to support 2 to 5 native evangelists per year. Till now he has supported 35 native evangelists providing them with all needs, with prayer through Jesus Redeems ministry. We are sending native evangelist report every month. Special prayers are conducted for our native evangelists in “Thirappin vasal Jebam” and fasting prayer.

Village Churches. 

In the early days of our ministry (i.e.) in October 1993 he saw how we were building a church at Hirola with much financial difficulties, getting contribution such as Rs.100, Rs.500 and so on. He was shedding tears, when he saw people who were worshipping God, under pandal, cottages and under shady trees. On the same night itself Holy Spirit gave him a vision and spoke to him clearly. Our Almighty God gave a burden in his mind and he himself came forward to construct one church from his own money and then to construct many churches through Jesus Redeems. Accordingly 44 churches have been constructed till date on behalf of Jesus Redeems ministry.  

Liberation Festivals, Gospel Meetings:-

Every year in November Bro. Mohan.C.Lazarus comes with his team to the missionary field and conduct “Gospel Meetings and Healing Crusades”, and “Spiritual camps for our evangelists”. In 1993 around 2000 people were blessed, subsequently in 1996 about 7000 people, in 1997 about 14000 people and in 1998 about 18000 people were blessed. Our Almighty God brought such a huge crowd from among drunkards, murderers, robbers, though there was no transport facility and publicity. Many people were healed by God’s miraculous healing power. Robbers, plunderers, witchdoctors and drunkards received Christ and were saved. It so happened as it is said in Acts 8:8, “There was great joy in that city.”

Camps for the deacons. 

In April 1997 a prayer camp was conducted for young saved believers by Bro.Mohan.C.Lazarus. It was a three days prayer camp attended by 1200 believers. All the participants of the camp were anointed with the Holy Spirit.They were filled with a thirst to pray for the salvation of their own “Bhil people” They committed themselves to give their life for winning souls. This prayer camp paved the way for a spiritual revival among young Bhil believers. Following this we are conducting special camps for thousands of deacons every year. In November 2005 we had s series of camps for the deacons from Gujarat. About 3000 deacons participated in these camps and they were all anointed by the Holy Spirit

Fire camps for the local native evangelists.

In order to strengthen the local evangelists and to establish their faith in Lord Jesus, Fire camps are conducted year after year. The Lord, our God Almighty used powerfully Bro.Mohan.C.Lazarus and his team members Bro.Sam, Bro.Stephen, and Bro.Jebasingh in these camps. All our evangelists are lead into intense dedication. Most of them received God’s visions and anointing with fire.

Many Gospel conventions, Elders Camps, Local native evangelist camps have been conducted by “Jesus Redeems” in our mission field. The entire expenses for these meetings are fully met by ‘Jesus Redeems’. All praises be to God the Almighty.

Jesus Redeems’ Partnership in Shalom Mission. 

In 1997 Jesus Redeems generously donated the following items. One Armatha Jeep, five Bajaj M80, thirty bicycles, sound sytems for ten churches. They have also helped various projects worth Rs.10 lakhs.

In 1998, 5 village churches were constructed. In 1999, 10 village churches were constructed and 12 Bajaj M-80 vehicles were given.

In 2000, in Rajasthan 12 village churches were constructed and 3000 Bibles were distributed. 

In 2001 in Madhya Pradesh state 12 village churches were constructed and10000 Bibles were given; 300 bicycles were given to 300 local native evangelists and also 5 motor cycles were given. Foundation for three big model churches were laid one in each state

When the earth quake struck Poonch district in Gujarat we decided to help some affected areas. In this regard we supplied relief materials to 100 affected families and we also constructed 53 houses in a place called ‘Maraba’ at a cost of Rs.20 lakhs. We did this on behalf of Jesus Redeems and got the commendation of Gujarat Chief minister.

We praise God, because Bro.Mohan.C.Lazarus is always eager to help us in many ways. It was because of his efforts our ministry was introduced to people in the southern districts. He participated in our missionary gatherings at Palayamkottai, Tuticorin, Marthandam, Coimbatore and Hosur and dedicated many missionaries. This ministry among the Bhil Adivasis gets a good coverage in Jesus Redeems magazine. So many missionary minded people come to know about this. We praise God for this great man of God and for his guidance. He has been a good counselor and advisor for this ministry. We are fortunate that he has accepted to be the president of Sharing Love Mission and under his able guidance we hope to move forward in establishing the kingdom of God among the Bhil Adivasis.

We praise God for Mrs.Joyce Lazarus whose prophetic words have helped us to keep ourselves in good stead. We are very thankful to brother’s family for all their love and affection for us and for our children. He always considers Shalom Ministry as a part of Jesus Redeems. We are grateful for his tearful prayers for the salvation of Bhil adivasis. We praise God that the love of calvary has united us with a bond of brotherhood and the Holy Spirit helps us to grow in the unity of purpose. Our only aim is to fulfill the will of God in this earth.

Please pray that this brotherhood and fellowship continue till the Lord appears for the second time. Pray that the one crore Bhil Adivasis come to the knowledge of Christ and be a part of the kingdom of God that is being established on this earth.
