Kumbura Village Church ^

Kumbura Model Village Church

Kumbura  is a village in Kusalkat taluk in Rajasthan.  Since this taluk is situated at the border of Gujarat, many people from Kumbura attended the charismatic meeting conducted by Bro.Devadass at Jhalod in 1994.  On witnessing many miracles taking  place, they brought many others too.  Therefore one native evangelist was sent to the taluk and a new                    was started.  There was one Pathiabai who though had accepted Jesus as the Saviour was not able to make any progress in his spiritual life.  He  therefore met the native evangelist.  Along with him he made progress.  He was anointed and he made arrangements for meetings to be held at his house everly week.  Many people participated.  As many as 40 families in this village have accepted Jesus as their saviour.

Bro. Pathia bai dedicated himself for full time service at Shalom Mission.  One person who was practicing sorcery and deceiving people in the village also accepted Jesus.  Hallelujah! Since Sunday service was held in a small hut.  Pathiabai contributed his own land for a church  to be built.  Inspite of many oppositions, God helped us build a small church and for the past nine years, services have been going on.  Since the number of believers increased, a bigger church has been built at a cost of 3 lakhs.  A total number of 120 families are praising God  wholeheartedly and worshipping Him.  Praise be to the Lord.
