THE PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AMONGST THE BHIL ADIVASI WOMEN

Being illiterate and unaware of modern fashion, the Bhil adivasi women lead a very simple life.  But the believer women shower their love and affection upon Jesus.  They stand in the gap and pray fervently that their own people would be saved.

The fasting prayer meeting organized by the wives of the native workers is named as Nissi Prayer Group.  These women gather themselves into many groups and involve in fasting prayers.  This kind of fasting prayer  takes place on the first Friday of every month in  Madhya Pradesh, on the second Friday of every month in Gujarat, and on the third Friday  of every month in Rajasthan.  They believe in the slogan, “Prayer brings victory” and act in accordance with it.  Moreover,  every evening the women working in the office at Jalod  pray for one hour so that a great revival would come up amidst the Bhil adivasi people.

Even the illiterate women, who were saved and spirit-baptized, attempted to read the Holy Bible with much ambition.  God helped them achieve their ambition.  He granted them sufficient knowledge.  Now they read Bible well.  The wives of around 375 native workers co-operate with the anointed workers and give a helping hand in their ministries.  These people who possess no worldly knowledge and wisdom see visions.  Some of them have seen the map of India in their vision and offered themselves to pray for India with much burden.  In some villages, people have received visions such as fire falling upon their villages, big churches being constructed etc.  They abide in Christ strongly, and are making steady progress in their spiritual lives.  Not only that.  The wives of most of the servants of God have been filled with grace to stand in the  gap and groan and weep for the unsaved souls.

Thus, the Bhil adivasi women are making steady growth in their prayer life, in reading the Word, in the anointing, and in giving offerings.  Definitely, there is not an iota of doubt that through the prayers of these Bhil adivasi women, even amongst the Bhil people,  the Lord would bring about a massive revival.
