Primary Health Training

Seventy of our Shalom native evangelists were given primary health training at our training centre at Dahod.  This training took place for five days from 20th April to 24th April.  God blessed this training.  During this training, Dr.Mrs.Jolly acted as the co-ordinator and in conjunction with her , Dr.Abel, Dr.Inbakumar and Dr.Jasmine, Sis.Ruby, Sis.Annathai and Sis.Shanthi organized this training.  They were given training in matters of family planning.  They were elaborated on diseases such as HIV and AIDS, diabetes, T.B., malaria, typhoid, allergy, asthma and jaundice and their natures. Everyone of the evangelists who underwent this training testified to their experiences they had for the first time in their life.  Glory be to God.

Moreover, they were instructed on first aid and raised an awareness against diseases.  Food and shelter had been arranged for all the doctors and evangelists.  We praise God for the medical team who came all the way from Tamilnad to give health training, under the leadership of Dr.Abel and Dr.Inba.  We express our heart-felt thanks to the medical team.
