Charity Mission
Thanks to the immeasurable grace of God, for the past 18
years, through Sharing Love Mission that the Lord gave, we
had been able to proclaim gospel, to raise disciples and
evangelists and build up churches and have been blessed by Him
a lot.
At
the same time, for the children of believer families schools
and hostels have to be constructed; health and medical
projects have to be executed; training camps have to be
conducted. Moreover, providing them with drinking water
facilities, social development projects, economic development
projects, such things have to be executed. One-third of the
funds that we obtain are being spent for the above projects.
In future these projects will have to be executed in a very
big way. Specifically, we will have to implement “Education
development” projects for about 10000 Bhil adivasi students.
For this purpose, after prayers for days together, as per the
advice of elder leaders, and in accordance with the guidance
of Holy Spirit, God has bestowed His grace to register a new
mission, Shalom Charity Mission. Sharing Love Mission will
function taking care of gospel ministry and church matters.
Shalom Charity Mission will function effectively, planning out
other social development carefully, and collecting funds.
Sis. Vahitha Devadass had taken up the charge as Shalom
Charity Mission – Founder & Managing Trustee. Dr.Prema
Christopher, (Palayamkottai), Mr. Winston Balasingh(Tuticorin),
Mr.Jacob(Chennai), all three have taken charge as trustees.
Sharing Love Mission has allowed it to operate giving its
full support. So, from this month onwards (01.07.2009), when
you are sending your financial aid to Hostel ministry,
education ministry, literature fund and other social welfare
ministry, kindly address them to the name of Shalom Charity
Mission. Also pray that we would obtain 80G (Income Tax
Exemption) for the social welfare ministry. Moreover,
receipt books are being sent to representatives.
